Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) is a not-for-profit private university that was established in 2002. It aims to provide affordable and high-quality education to Malaysians. UTAR has gained a strong reputation as one of the fastest-growing private higher education institutions in the country since its inception. Starting with only 411 students in 2002, the university now has over 21,000 students enrolled across its campuses in Kampar, Perak and Bandar Sungai Long, Selangor. The Bandar Sungai Long campus offers a range of facilities and services to support a convenient learning environment. UTAR has graduated more than 77,000 students since its first convocation in 2005. The university offers 131 academic programs in various fields, including Accounting, Business and Economics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics and Process Management, Agriculture and Food Science, Arts, Social Sciences and Education, Creative Industries and Design, Engineering and Built Environment, Information and Communication Technology, Life and Physical Sciences, and Medicine and Health Sciences.
